Daniel is a Clinical Mental Health Counselor in practice in Utah. Daniel’s career began in 2005 where he began working in various capacities at a treatment center for at risk youth. Since that time Daniel has worked at10 different facilities for youth dealing with various substance and behavioral addictions. Which included, secure lockdown facilities, residential treatment centers, and wilderness programs. Since 2009 Daniel has been working with these youth in both inpatient and outpatient settings as a professional counselor and had the responsibility of overseeing the therapeutic component of treatment at a residential treatment center for boys with behavioral issues. In addition to his work with at risk youth Daniel has also been working as a counselor since 2010 helping men diminish unwanted homosexuality.
Daniel received his Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Behavioral Science from Utah Valley State College in 2008 and his Master’s of Science degree in Mental Health Counseling from The University of Phoenix in 2011. In 2012 Daniel began training and practicing under David Matheson.
Since 2010 Daniel has been involved with People Can Change, staffing Journey into Manhood weekends. Daniel has also sat as Director of the Adventure in Manhood weekends.
Daniel is a native to Utah and true to his roots he is an avid outdoorsman and enjoys camping, hiking, backpacking, snowshoeing, snowboarding, rock climbing, canyoneering and anything else that involves a bit of fun and risk in the outdoors, especially if his wife and two sons are with him.
